During the April 11th meeting, the Administrator of the Office of the Receiver, Fred Reddig, assures the Municipal Advisory Committee that Governor Corbett is working "expeditiously" to fill the vacant position. Until the time a new receiver is appointed, Reddig will oversee the Office of the Receiver as well as the implementation of the Commonwealth Court-appointed Recovery Plan designed by the resigned David Unkovic. When City Council President Wanda Williams requests regular updates on the process of implementation of the Plan, Reddig says, "We will do that to the degree possible," and refers to the nature of the negotiations happening to sell/lease the City's major assets.--Tara Leo Auchey
