In November 2011, a Grand Jury Report on former Penn State football assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky, was released, revolutionizing debate on college football and child abuse.

From June 11 to June 22, 2012, Sandusky stood trial in Bellfonte, PA for the child molestation of 10 boys, and was convicted of 45 of 48 counts including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault, unlawful contact with minors, and corruption of minors.
