As released by the Harrisburg Police Dept:

Eric Johnson, B/M/33, of Harrisburg was arrested this afternoon.

. He is being charged with Criminal Homicide, Tampering with Evidence, and Carrying a Firearm Without License in the shooting death of Marcus Garner in November of 2012.

. Johnson was sought throughout the day by a team of City detectives, Street Crimes Unit and the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team. A number of residences were searched in and around the City.

. Johnson was located in an apartment in Allison Hill. He climbed out of a window but was caught after a short chase.

. He awaits arraignment. .
