Guernsey’s Consignment Agreement – Auction of Artifacts:

Motion: The Board authorizes the Executive Director’s execution of the Consignment Agreement between Guernsey’s and THA. Funding Source: Commission paid from auction proceeds. Revenue Destination: Admin Fund.

Harrisburg's Mayor Thompson and the office of the Controller have signed off a contract with the auction house to sell artifacts owned by the City.

The artifacts were collected by former Mayor Steve Reed for a proposed Wild West Museum that was never built, authenticity of some of the artifacts has been questioned, while others were misrepresented as to who the original owner was.
