The Harrisburg Police Department has released the following information about three separate incidents that occurred between Friday night and Saturday morning.

First Incident:

Type of Incident: Robbery investigations

Date / Time: 06-14-2013 at about 2330 hrs.

Location: S. 13th & Derry Sts. Investigating Officer: Det. Jarrett Ferrari

Victim:White male, 48, Allison Hill resident

Suspects:

Three young black males, 18-22 yrs. One 6’ tall, skinny, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up. Armed with a handgun.

Two other young men dressed in dark clothing. Charges: Pending

Narrative: On 06-14-2013 at about 2340 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Market St. on a report that a person had been assaulted and robbed. The victim said that he was walking home and passed S. 13th and Derry Sts. He was confronted by three robbers who attacked him and pulled him into an alleyway. The demanded his valuables. One robber displayed a handgun and hit the victim with hit several times. The victim was repeatedly punched and kicked. The robbers took his cell phone and wallet. The victim went to a pay phone to summon help. He suffered multiple contusions and abrasions but did not wish to go to a hospital.

Second Incident:

Date / Time: 06-15-2013 at about 0040 hrs. . Location: S. 17th & Swatara Sts. . Victim: White male, 43, Allison Hill resident . Suspects:

Three young black males. One wore a hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up. Armed with a handgun.

Two other young men dressed in dark clothing.

Narrative:

On 06-15-2013 at about 0050 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Derry St. on a report that a person had been assaulted and robbed. The victim said that he got a ride from work and was dropped off near his home. As he walked by S. 17th and Swatara Sts., he was attacked by three robbers. He was repeatedly hit on the back of the head. One robber displayed a handgun and threatened to kill him if he didn’t give them his valuables. The robbers took his cell phone and ran off. The victim went to a pay phone to summon help. He suffered multiple contusions and abrasions but did not wish to go to a hospital.

Third Incident: Date / Time: 06-15-2013 at about 0530 hrs. . Location: 300 block of Nectarine St . Victim: Hispanic male, 29, Allison Hill resident

Suspects:

Juvenile, B/M/14, 1600 block of Park St. Robbery & Conspiracy Simple Assault

Juvenile, B/M/17, 400 block of Crescent St. Robbery & Conspiracy

Jamar Royal, B/M/18, 1100 block of Mulberry St. Robbery & Conspiracy Simple Assault

Narrative: On 06-15-2013 at about 0535 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Nectarine St. on a report that a person had been assaulted and robbed. The victim said that he was on a porch of a home and was confronted by three robbers who demanded his valuables. One robber, dressed in a gray hooded sweatshirt displayed a handgun and told the victim to give up his valuables unless he wanted to die. Two robbers, later identified as Jamar Royal and the 17 year old male, hit the victim several times while the other male stood watch. The victim was able to break away and run to a house. The robbers followed and two robbers pointed guns in an open window while yelling at the victim. The robbers ran off. The victim suffered contusions. Nothing was taken from him. . Responding officers located the robbers and they were positively identified and separated. One robber showed the officers where he tossed his handgun while fleeing. It was recovered and identified as a B-B gun. The other weapon was not located. . All three robbers were charged as noted. The juveniles were placed in a detention center. The arraignment disposition on the adult is not reported as yet. . The robbers are being investigated as suspects in the first two incidents. .
