Jay Wegner, financial advisor to the Dauphin County General Authority describes the pending sale of the Pittsburgh Hyatt Hotel owned by the General Authority, Wegner stated that settlement is scheduled for Thursday November 21, 2013.

The Hyatt is expected to close tomorrow.

Here's a copy of the agenda (PDF) for today's Dauphin County General Authority meeting. The final sale price for the Hyatt has been confirmed to be $44.5 million dollars.

The Dauphin County General Authority cancelled two of three scheduled meetings to finalize the closure of the sale of the Pittsburgh Hyatt Hotel.

The meetings were scheduled and subsequently canceled in anticipation of the closing documents being finalized. The majority of the closing documents are expected to be ready for action at the Authority's next scheduled meeting at 8:00 am on Friday, November 15th, 2013.

Additional items that are not finalized before Friday's meeting will be considered at the Authority's monthly meeting at 8:00 am on Wednesday, November 20th, 2013.

The Solicitor for the Dauphin County General Authority, Guy Beneventano, has informed us that the General Authority will no longer hold an ownership interest in the Pittsburgh Hyatt Hotel as of November 21st, 2013 when MAGNA, LLC. assumes ownership of the property.
