Capitol reporters questioned Senator Pileggi after a senate appropriations committee on the possibility of privatization of the Pa Lottery system and expansion of lottery games to include Keno.

Two separate components of the legislation, to make clear that the governor has the authority to contract with a private firm to provide certain managerial and marketing functions within the lottery system, the second is to make clear that Keno style games are permitted under the lottery act.
