HARRISBURG, Dec. 11, 2013 — State Sen. Rob Teplitz invites the public to attend the first meeting of his newly formed Small Business Advisory Committee on Monday, Dec. 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at StartUp Harrisburg, 1519 N. 3rd St. in Harrisburg.

“Small businesses are important contributors to our communities and our economy,” said Teplitz (D-Dauphin/York). “I welcome the community to participate in this advisory committee meeting to discuss how we can help local businesses thrive.”

In addition, Teplitz has formed citizen advisory committees focusing on veterans and sportsmen and women in order to give constituents and his office the opportunity to work together on issues facing these groups.

Residents who currently live in the 15th Senatorial District, as well as residents of northern Dauphin County and all of Perry County who will become part of the 15th district as of Dec. 1, 2014 are invited to participate in the advisory committees.
