I arrived at the 3700 block of Second street in Susquehanna township at 3:44pm and recorded video of police investigating the shooting death of the driver of a red Ford sedan. We will update as soon as we receive additional information.

Sat, 01/11/2014 - 1:54pm The Criminal Investigation Division of the District Attorney's Office in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Police, is investigating the death of a white male on Second Street in Susquehanna Township.

Units from Susquehanna Twp., PSP, and Harrisburg PD were involved in pursuit of a vehicle this afternoon. The car was stolen and the driver was believed to have been involved in criminal activity earlier today.

The car was cornered and shots were fired, including shots from police. Witnesses are currently being interviewed. The entire incident is under investigation including whether the deceased's fatal wounds were self-inflicted.

The District Attorney's Office reviews the use of deadly force by police officers to determine whether such force was justified. The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
