Former Harrisburg mayor Linda D. Thompson dropped off 1661 signatures at the Pa Department of State Tuesday just after 1pm, Thompson is running for the 104th Congressional district.

Former Harrisburg Mayor Linda D. Thompson dropped a bombshell Saturday when she acknowledged her run for Pa's 4th congressional district, Thompson needs to collect 1K valid signatures to get on the ballot and has one week from today to file the nomination petitions.

If Thompson does qualify how much money will she be able to raise, in her run for reelection she was outspent by both Miller and Papenfuse and finished third in the May 2013 primary.

Linda D. Thompson attended Saturday's Progressive Summit at the Hilton hotel in Harrisburg, Thompson acknowledged that she is circulating petitions for the office of Congress in the 4th district of Pa, the seat is currently held by republican Scott Perry.
