“WORD IN THE BURG” WITH MAYOR ERIC PAPENFUSE DEBUTS AT 8 P.M. TONIGHT ON WHBG CHANNEL 20

HARRISBURG – “Word in the Burg,” a monthly talk show with Mayor Eric Papenfuse, will debut 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 on WHBG Channel 20. Mayor Papenfuse is joined by guests Tina Nixon, CEO of the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg; and Mary Ann Havalchak, Prevention Education Program Manager of the Harrisburg YWCA, to discuss the problem of sexual assault.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the Mayor used the show to draw awareness to the issue in the Harrisburg region and to provide information about prevention and resources to help victims.

Mayor Papenfuse will use “Word in the Burg” to draw attention to many issues impacting the capital city and the region, and he is inviting the public to offer ideas for shows by email.
