Dauphin county commissioners presented the "State of the County "address Monday evening at the Harrisburg Hilton hotel, commissioners Jeff Haste, Mike Pries and George Hartwick spoke to a audience of approximately 350 people.

Commissioner George Hartwick presented information related to the outstanding debt owed or guaranteed by Dauphin county. "We have managed to address and reduce our long term debt." Hartwick goes on to say "Our taxpayer will be virtually debt free in ten years." and then this comment "We are on track to cut our debt load by 94% over the next ten years."
