Cosby Arraigned and Posts Bail;

Preliminary Hearing Set for January 14, 2016 at 9 AM

William H. Cosby was arraigned at 2:30 p.m. today before Magisterial District Judge Elizabeth McHugh on the charges of Aggravated Indecent Assault. Cosby was arraigned at Judge McHughs Court in Elkins Park. Bail was set at $1 million with additional conditions of surrendering his passport and having no contact with the victim. Mr.Cosby posted $100,000 (or 10 percent of the bail, as required) and was released.

Following the arraignment, Mr. Cosby was processed at the Cheltenham Township Police Department. Judge McHugh set a preliminary hearing date of January 14, 2016 at 9 AM
