Former Harrisburg mayor Stephen R. Reed received a sentence of 2 years probation, fines of $2,000 and court costs.

Reed plead guilty to the following charges.

COUNT 23: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (F-3) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely Geronimo by Mary E. Fly Tombstone, Arizona Terr 1903 (1997.51.1), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. VALUED AT $3,500.00

COUNT 25: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (F-3) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely a Missouri Convict’s letter (1997.45.8), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. VALUED AT $2,500.00

COUNT 40: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely the Memoirs of S.P. Allen, 1870-80 under G. Crook 5th Calvary (1998.44.17), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. VALUED AT $800.00

COUNT 47: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely a Photograph, 5th U.S. Infantry Ft. Keogh, MT Terr. (2000.31.5), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. VALUED AT $1,300.00

COUNT 48: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely a Hugh Beckwith Court Findings (1997.45.6), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. COUNT 49: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely a William Rynerson letter (1997.45.5), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. COUNT 51: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely an Indian expedition letter (1997.31.5), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. VALUED AT $1,200.00

COUNT 55: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely an election certificate (1997.31.2), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. COUNT 56: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely a 7th Calvary Marching Photo (1998.44.5a), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. COUNT 58: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely a Sioux Chief Lone Feather, Yellow Bull & Cloud, ca 1875 albumen (1997.47.1), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. VALUED AT $950.00

COUNT 59: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely a Navajo Chief Manuelito & his Tribe, ca 1865 albumen (1997.47.2), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. COUNT 64: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely an original photograph of outlaw Al Jennings c1915 (1997.53.4), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen. COUNT 92: THEFT BY RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 18 Pa.C.S.§3925– (M-1) AND FURTHER, between April 2015 to June 2015, the defendant intentionally received, retained or disposed of movable property, namely a Governor’s Rifle Duel Letter (1997.45.3), of the City of Harrisburg knowing that it had been stolen, or believing that it had probably been stolen.
