Description/Discussion of:
•Resolution 33-2017 – A Resolution authorizing the City of Harrisburg to negotiate and enter into a professional services contract with MKSD, LLC, d/b/a MKSD Architects to provide a feasibility study of the City’s pools.
•Bill 1-2017 - An ordinance forgiving and discharging 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 City real estate taxes including interest, penalties and costs and striking off tax liens for sinkhole impacted properties in the area of the 1400 Block of South 14th Street.
•Bill 3-2017 - An Ordinance of the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, electing to amend its Non-Uniform Municipal Pension Plan Administered by the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System pursuant to Article IV of the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement Law; agreeing to be bound by all provisions of the Pennsylvania Retirement Law as amended and as applicable to member municipalities.
•Resolution 7-2017 - A Resolution appointing Thomas Whye, PE to serve on the Building and Housing Code Board of Appeals of the City of Harrisburg.
•Resolution 10-2017 – A Resolution appointing Neil Heffelfinger to serve on the Harrisburg Architectural Review Board.
•Resolution 11-2017 - A Resolution approving the transfer of 22 nonconforming or otherwise irregular properties to the Harrisburg Redevelopment Authority for sale or other disposition.
•Resolution 12-2017 - A Resolution appointing Roy Christ, Steve Howe and Jim Thompson to serve on the LERTA Appeals Board.
•Resolution 18-2017 - A Resolution appointing Jay P. Nenninger to serve on the Board of Plumbing.
•Resolution 19-2017 - A Resolution appointing Gary L. Shimmel to serve on the Board of Plumbing.
•Resolution 20-2017 – A Resolution appointing Thomas Lewis to serve on the Board of Plumbing.
•Resolution 21-2017 - A Resolution appointing James C. Mooney to serve on the Board of Plumbing.
•Resolution 23-2017 - A Resolution authorizing the City of Harrisburg to negotiate and enter into a professional services contract with Springsted Incorporated to conduct a classification and compensation study of the City’s exempt and non-exempt, non-represented employee job classifications.
•Resolution 28-2017 - A Resolution ratifying contracts with SMS Systems Maintenance Services, Inc. for the purchase and set up of an IBM Server.
•Resolution 7-2016 – A Resolution amending the Rules of Council for the Harrisburg City Council.
