Harrisburg Authority member Bill Cluck on the cost of litigation due to the decision of our county commissioners Jeffrey T. Haste, George P. Hartwick and Dominic DiFrancesco to file suit against the City of Harrisburg for failure to pay the debt payments on the incinerator bonds that the same commissioners guaranteed, Judge Brown dismissed the lawsuit claiming the county had no standing to sue in a court of equity, the county spent $400K in attorney fees in this debacle, the cost of the suit will fall on the taxpayers of the City of Harrisburg under terms of the loan guarantee.
