Archive video of attorney David Unkovic from his November 18, 2011 press conference on the day Governor Corbett nominated him to be Pennsylvania's first-ever municipal receiver. Standing with representatives of the law firm McKenna, Long, and Aldridge as the Receiver's Team, Unkovic optimistically declared he was ready to work with stakeholders to map out solutions for Harrisburg's fiscal crisis. That day Unkovic said, "I'm going to treat everyone in the process openly and with good faith and hope they are coming to this process with good faith, too." Within the month, he was appointed as the Receiver of the City of Harrisburg on December 2, 2011. On March 30, 2012, Unkovic submitted his resignation to the Commonwealth Court which approved him.--Tara Leo Auchey
