Announcing his bid a year ago, Rob Teplitz is in the race for the 15th District seat of retiring PA Senator Jeff Piccola. "We are going to have a new State Senator, for the first time in a long time. But the question is--is it going to be more of the same or are we going to take this opportunity?" The senatorial candidate discusses what it will take to have a Democrat in the long-time Republican seat. Pointing to the fact that his primary opponent was absent from this March 19th Capital Region Stonewall Democrats Candidates Night, Teplitz states that it is significant to attend such events and meet the people who are voting.
