On June 5, 2012, McKenna, Long, & Aldridge attorney Greg Brow for the Office of the Receiver made his oral argument in front of Dauphin County Judge Evans asking for Intervenor status in the lawsuit Covanta versus the City of Harrisburg, which is a result of the City's failure to make its guarantee payments on a $25 million loan made to The Harrisburg Authority in 2007. Covanta, the company which owns and operates the Harrisburg Incinerator, opposes the Office of Receiver's request to intervene. In this video, Covanta attorney Paige Macdonald-Matthes explains why it's their position that the Office of the Receiver does not meet the requirements to intervene. Judge Evans ruled in favor of the motion to intervene.---Tara Leo Auchey
