ARCHIVE VIDEO from June 2006. In 2006 the Harrisburg Board of Elected School Directors faced off with the Board of Control.

At the time the school district was under the authority of Mayor Reed and his appointed members of Board of Control. Harrisburg City Council member Susan Brown Wilson remarks on the Interim Opinion issued by Dauphin County Judge Lawrence Clark, which told the Elected School Directors how to vote.

Wilson tells the elected officials, "You cannot afford to let them put you in a position that you are not making the right decision for the taxpayers." She tells them to test the Judge's order.---Tara Leo Auchey
