Part IV. As of September 7th, the Harrisburg's HUD Community Development Block Grant program is still stalled with last year's recipients approaching a one year wait to access the grants they were awarded in 2011. Two weeks ago, City Councilor Susan Brown Wilson vehemently questioned Director of Building & Housing Jack Robinson about the delay, and while he gave no response, Mayor Linda Thompson reacted by having a press conference the next day to applaud the City's HUD program and congratulate this year's recipients.

However, with the program at a standstill, it waits to be seen if the fresh group of awardees will be able to access their grants when the time comes next month.
