As release by the Harrisburg Police Department:

On 06-06-2013 at about 1430 hrs. patrol officers and detectives were dispatched to the Citizens Bank on a report of a robbery. The victim tellers said that the robber wore a red baseball hat that was pulled down to cover the top part of the face. The robber gave a teller a note demanding money. He had what appeared to be a handgun and placed it on the counter for the teller to see. The teller surrendered a small amount of cash and the robber ran out.

No one was harmed during the offense. A single still photograph from the bank video is attached. The video is being developed and hopefully portions will be available in the next day or so.

The investigation continues and anyone having any information on this is asked to contact Det. Iachini at 717-255-3118, email riachini@cityofhbg.com or Lt. Robert Fegan at 717-255-3114, email rfegan@cityofhbg.com to reach City detectives.

Anyone may also call the Dauphin County Police dispatch at 717-558-6900 and ask for a City detective.
