Earlier today we obtained a summary of an amendment that could be voted upon by the Senate in the Legislature's attempt to modernize the Commonwealth's Liquor System.

Although official language has not been finalized or agreed upon, this summary provides a glimpse into the considerations and compromises that are being made as Senate leaders attempt to negotiate a deal on modernizing the Commonwealth's liquor system.

The following map was assembled using the most recent version of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's Marketing Report. The data is from 2011-2012 and shows the approximate locations of existing liquor stores throughout the state. Click the wine bottles to view the store's overall rank, total number of transactions, average sale amounts, and total revenue generated.
