The American Civil Liberties Union is holding a press conference announcing their suit which challenges the constitutionality of Pennsylvania's laws excluding same-sex couples from marriage and failing to recognize the marriages of couples entered into in other states.

The lawsuit alleges that Pennsylvania's Defense of Marriage Act and refusal to marry lesbian and gay couples or recognize their out-of-state marriages violates the fundamental right to marry as well as the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

Here's a copy of the ACLU's complaint for declaratory and injunctive relief.

We'll have video of the press conference up momentarily.

Video 1. Reggie Shuford It's a big day for all of us.

Video 2. Witold Walczak. The couples are united by love, family, and commitment.

Video 3. Mark Aronchick. Our government must be better than what it is right now.

Video 4. The plaintiffs. The only difference between my family and those of my friends, is that I have two dads.
