Dauphin County Bureau of Elections has varified that Jennifer Smallwood has filed petitions to run as a Independent candidate for the Office of Controller for the City of Harrisburg, Smallwood filed as a Democratic candidate in March 2013 but later removed herself from the ballot after a petition challenge was filed in Dauphin County court.
