Yesterday we learned that Governor Corbett named former GOP Representative Katie True as his new Secretary of Legislative Affairs.

Today we confirmed that Andrew Ritter has submitted his resignation and is looking forward to starting a new chapter. Ritter served as Corbett's acting Legislative Affairs director until the decision was made to appoint True.

When we asked Ritter whether he had any further comments he offered the following, "Katie was a widely respected member of the General Assembly and I feel that she'll do extremely well in the position."
