Harrisburg Fire Chief Robert Talloni tendered a resignation letter last week with today being his last day of employment with the city, Harrisburg COO Robert Philbin stated that Talloni has accepted a teaching position at the University of New Haven located in West Haven Connecticut.

Deputy Chief Michael Horst has been named acting Chief.
