(HARRISBURG) – Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati (R-25) and Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman (R-34) offer the following statement regarding Senator Browne’s recent motorcycle accident.

“Yesterday afternoon, Pat Browne was involved in a vehicle accident while traveling on his motorcycle in Allentown. No other individuals were involved and the accident is under review by the PA State Police. Pat has suffered considerable injuries, was in the Intensive Care Unit and is currently in stable condition at an area hospital.

“We have spoken with Pat’s wife, Heather, who is with him. At this time we believe he will be in the hospital for the upcoming days. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with Pat, Heather and their family during this very difficult time.”
