House Rules Committee passed HB 466 (liquor privatization) just after 4pm Tuesday afternoon.

A party line vote.

Pa Senate passed HB 466 (liquor privatization) Tuesday afternoon by a 27-22 vote.

Sen. Chuck McIlhinney, R-Bucks, Chair of the committee brings up HB 466 with an amendment introduced by Sen. Scarnati, the motion was approved by a 7-4 vote.

Discussion of HB 466 - A divestiture of the liquor system both wholesale and retail.

So the entity that we want to sell off, was one of the primary streams that apparently did a good job.

Eliminating forty seven hundred jobs, and eighty million dollars in profit.
