Pa House Rules Committee Chair Kerry A. Benninghoff moves SB 106 out of committee Friday July 8th at 5:16pm.

The first vote was a Motion to Table (Rep. Tommy Sankey) five amendments offered by House D's

Bill/Resolution SB106 PN1857 Type of Motion Re-report Bill As Committed Maker of Motion Rep. Sankey

Seconded by Rep. Saylor.

Brief Description:

Proposes five separate and distinct amendments to the Pennsylvania Constitution, including a change to the nomination of candidates for Lieutenant Governor, a clarification that the Constitution does not grant the right to taxpayer-funded abortion or any other right relating to abortion, requirements for auditing of elections and election results by the Auditor General, changes to the qualifications of electors to require voter identification, and an additional exception to the presentment clause of Article III, relating to disapproved regulations. Amendments A05422 (Carroll), A05423 (Carroll), A05425 (McClinton), A05426 (Frankel), and A05429 (Frankel) were all Tabled by a vote of 18-15 - Motion by Sankey, seconded by Hickernell.
