In response to the question, "What are the next steps in terms of securing our streets?," Mayor Thompson talks about the training her Administration is giving residents in order to help combat crime. She goes on to point out that for the first time in years, the Police Department is being open and transparent about incidents in Harrisburg. Therefore, she says, "It has this appearance that it's worse than ever before." Referring to unemployment, Thompson states robberies in the City are up by 50%. She urges citizens to be aware of suspicious strangers in their neighborhoods--Tara Leo Auchey
