Five days after Harrisburg Receiver David Unkovic's resignation--Pennsylvania's first ever municipal receiver--Governor Corbett comments on the situation. In response to reporter Charlie Thompson's questions about when a new City Receiver will be appointed, the Governor says there is no set time table.
"We are taking a look at potential candidates," but doesn't give any indication who might be on the list.
Referring to the fact that Harrisburg City Council is expressing upset at Unkovic's resignation, Corbett points out that members spoke out against the appointment in the first place.
He declares, "Hopefully, that they will learn that, you know, I want to help Harrisburg as much as we possibly can."--Tara Leo Auchey
