Harrisburg Mayor Thompson is captured stumbling over her budget numbers and blaming City Controller Dan Miller for providing inaccurate budget estimates. "Miller's jacking up the numbers," she claims and presents her own interpretation of how the numbers add up declaring the City's end of year structural deficit will only be $3.4 million despite the over $12 million hole projected by the Office of the Receiver and the City Controller. The Mayor then announces, "General Lynch is also making a decision to not make the September general obligation bond payment." When asked to confirm this, the spokesman for Receiver Lynch replied, "the receiver has not yet made an official determination." The bond payment is due September 15th.---Tara Leo Auchey
