Robbery - armed

Location: 1900 block of Green St.

"Suspect: Black male, about 5’10” tall, 150 lbs., 25-30 yrs., medium complexion and wearing a black sweatshirt and light colored blue jeans. .

Narrative: On 10-16-2012 at about 1630 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Green St. on a report of a robbery. The victim said that she had been visiting a friend and upon leaving the house to go to her car she saw a black male loitering about in the area. She felt uncomfortable in that she felt it was odd behavior and sensed something wrong. But, she was a good distance away and thought she could make it to her car in case the man approached her. The man rushed up to her with surprising speed, pulled out a gun and demanded her purse. She surrendered the purse and was not harmed. She lost all her personal papers, cards, car keys, and about $100 cash. The robber was last seen running North on Green St."
