Tonight the City of Harrisburg's Mayor will present the 2013 Budget. During the Department Budget reviews in September, the Thompson Administration proposed a request of $10,000 to turn a broken City pool into a water park. It will be interesting to see if this made it into the actual Budget.

The Department of Public Works has included a $10,000 line item to fill in the broken City pool and develop it into a water park for kids. The Thompson Administration plans to find partners and sponsors for this project, but wants the $10,000 to get the project started.
