During a Harrisburg School District Recovery public meeting, State-appointed Chief Recovery Officer Gene Veno announced his team will be doing a forensic audit of the District's finances over the past ten years.
During this interview, James Roxbury asks Veno about his announcement, specifically the cost of such a forensic audit. Saying that the Harrisburg Authority spent over a million dollars for the Forensic Audit of the Incinerator Financings, Roxbury asks how the District would pay for such an expense. Veno explains that for his team's review of the financings, the Chief Recovery Officer refers that at this point-in house advisors, Public Financial Management, will be used. As a starting point, Veno said the team will "take the current budgets and start to study them and see if there are patterns."
