Mayor Thompson keeps referring to "smokes and mirrors" during this video clip of today's presser on council filing for chapter 9.

As far as Thompson's claim that she got an additional $1 million from the county through gaming grants, well that is completely wrong, the request for $3 million by the city was rejected by the gaming advisory board, the city received no money.
