In response to a press statement released by Harrisburg City Controller Dan Miller on the resolution of the direct deposit issue between he and the Mayor's Office, Mayor Thompson dismisses the Controller's announcement of Judge Clark's order that the Controller's Office does have the authority of oversight of who gets paid from the City coffers. Calling Miller's statement "cheap," she sees it as a political move on his part. When asked it she'll appeal the ruling, she says no. "Again, I stand by my integrity. There's no embezzlement charges against the Mayor or anything of that sort."---Tara Leo Auchy
