The House will be back in session at 11:00 am today and the Senate will convene at 1:00 pm. Here's a look at what's scheduled for consideration in the House and Senate Committees.
House Committees: The House State Government Committee met at 9:00 am to hold a public hearing on reforms to election administration and oversight, with a focus on HB 1142, HB 1371 and HB 1572l HB 1827, HB 1830, and HB 1835 in Room B-31 of theMain Capitol
House Children and Youth met at 9:00 am to hold a Voting meeting on SB 21, SB 23, SB 30, SB 1116, and any other business that may come before the Committee in Room 39 East Wing.
The House Education Committee also met at 9:00 am to hold a Voting meeting on HB 803, HB 1741, SB 193, SB 437, and any other business that may come before the Committee in Room 205 of the Ryan Office Building.
At 9:30 AM Consumer Affairs held a Public hearing on HB 1620, Amends the Franchise law in Room 140 of the Main Capitol
The House Aging & Older Adult Services Committee met at 9:30 am to hold a Public hearing on Elder Abuse in Room 60 East Wing.
The House Finance Committee is scheduled to meet at 9:45 AM to hold a Voting meeting on HB 1489 and any other business that may come before the Committee in Room G50 of the Irvis Office Building.
At 10:00 AM House Judiciary Committee will hold a Voting meeting on SB 28, SB 57, SB 150, SB 681, HR 537, and any other business that may come before the Committee in Room 205 of the Ryan Office Building
The House Appropriations Committee will meet at the Call of Chair, the agenda has yet to be announced, but they will meet in Room 140 of the Main Capitol.
Senate Committees:
At 9:30 am The Senate Environmental Resources & Energy Committee met to consider SB1037 and SB1077 in Room 8E-B of the East Wing.
The Senate Local Government Committee will meet at 10:00 am to consider SB904 and HB1523 in room Room 8E-A of the East Wing.
At 10:30 AM the Community, Economic & Recreational Development Committee is scheduled to consider SR183 and a public hearing regarding tourism and tourism marketing in PA in Room 8E-A East Wing.
The Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness Committee will meet at 11:00 am to consider SB720 and SB771; and HB1285 and HB1706 in Room 8E-B of the East Wing.
The Senate Judiciary Committee will meet at 11:30 AM to consider SB850 and SB1168; and HB321 and HB1201, HB1274 and HB1504 in Room 8E-B East Wing.
The Consumer Protection & Professional Licensure Committee will meet at 12:30 pm to consider SB807; and HB431 and HB1056 in Room 461 of the Main Capitol.
Senate Appropriations will meet at the call of the chair to consider SB1085 and SB1181; and HB770 in the Rules Committee Conference Room.
Rules and Executive Nominations will also meet at the call of the chair to consider SB802 and SB1042; HB290; and certain Executive Nominations in the Rules Committee Conference Room.
