The Dauphin County Commissioners met today to consider the following agenda items.
Of interest, the following disbursements have been placed on the agenda.
A total of $497,454.83 is slated for consideration from Local Share Gaming Grants for the following projects:
1. Harrisburg Police Athletic League - $40,000.
2. Pennsylvania Fund for Workforce Solutions - South Central Regional Workforce Development Collaborative - $150,000.
3. City Islanders New Stadium Planning/Economic Impact Study - $25,000.
4. Dauphin County Land Bank Authority - $250,000.
5. Derry Township – Park Blvd. (T-588) Relocation & Bridge DRT-1 Replacement - $32,454.83.
In addition to the Local Share Gaming Funds, $147,150 was distributed to the following entities from Hotel Tax Funds.
1. Central Pennsylvania Figure Skating Club - $40,000.
2. Hershey Harrisburg Regional Visitors Bureau - Central PA Micro Brew Fest 2013 - $50,000.
3. Hershey Harrisburg Regional Visitors Bureau - Future Stars Tournament Baseball, LLC - $2,000.
4. Barak, Inc. – NexGen Youth Arts Festival 2013 - $10,000.
5. Men of the Southeast League Field - $9,150.
6. Harrisburg Boxing Club – Judgment Day Boxing Event - $2,000.
7. African American Chamber of Commerce of Central PA - $2,000.
8. Handles Entertainment – Youth Camp - $2,000.
9. Pennsylvania National Horse Show Foundation - $25,000.
10. Pennsylvania Association of Travel & Tourism - $5,000.
